Greefield® MEC 600 PRO is a modified Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose(HPMC). MEC 600 PRO was developed as a rheology modifier and thickener for cement-based applications, like grouts or self-leveling underlayment. It imparts well- balanced properties to self-leveling compound e.g.
►Good flow ability of the liquid mortar.
►Good impact on sedimentation and bleeding.
It also imparts good workability and enhances water retention. The selected particle size distribution helps to achieve quick or lump free dissolution. It is compatible with all conventional mineral and organic binders.

|
Cellulose ethers constitute a dust explosion hazard. Dust formation and deposits must be kept to a minimum so that no ignitable dust/air mixtures can form. Ignition sources such as naked flames, hot surfaces, spark and static electricity should be avoided. GREEFIELD starts to decompose at about 200°C. Its ignition temperature is >360°C. It burns easily and the fire may spread.
Packed in 25 kg multilayer paper sack with polyethylene intermediate layer and inner P.E. bag.
When stored in closed containers, or in its original packaging in a dry place at room temperature, GREEFIELD can be kept for a long time. In the case of high viscosity grades, a slow loss of viscosity can be measured after lengthy storage (>1 year). GREEFIELD absorbs water from moist air. Once opened, container must be resealed and kept tightly closed. |

Greefield® MEC 600 PRO are packed in small bags, net weight 25kg per bag or net weight 600kgs per jumbo.bag.
Storage
It is recommended to use the product in rotating on a first in first out basis. The product should be stored under dry and clean conditions in its original packaging and away from heat. The product is hydroscopic. The packaging is selected in a way to avoid ingress of moisture, but the water content of the packed product will / may increase if not stored dry.
Product Safety
According to the EU legislation on dangerous substances and preparations, Greefield MT is not hazardous. Further data on the safety aspects of Greefield MT types are given in the Safety Data Sheet.
Transportation:
Not classified as a dangerous goods under the transport regulations for the land, sea and air transport.
