Suitable for use in water-based anti-corrosion coatings, it not only protects the inherent characteristics of micaceous iron oxide itself, but also has the following characteristics:
1. Easy to disperse, solving the problem of precipitation defects. In an aqueous solution, simply stir gently to completely and evenly disperse.
2. High solid content, due to its dispersibility, can be increased to 30-58% in the proportion of anti-corrosion pigments, greatly improving the anti-corrosion effect of anti-corrosion coatings and greatly reducing VOCs emissions.
3. Adding salt spray resistance can achieve 1800 hours of rust resistance in destructive salt spray tests.
4. Increasing adhesion makes it easy for the product to polymerize with other substances after coating.
5. Reducing the viscosity of the coating solution requires only a small amount of additives such as anti settling agents to be added due to its easy dispersion, without increasing the viscosity of the coating. This is beneficial for the application of the coating and reduces the production and construction costs of the coating.
