Colored Asphalt , or colorless asphalt, or muticolour colored asphalt colorless binder, is a new type of material among many road construction materials. There are currently two widely used types:
1) One method is to add color powder to a decolorized colorless asphalt and then get colored asphalt mixture material. Decolorized colorless asphalt can be obtained through bitumen, asphalt decolorization, or it can also be synthetic prepared from light colored polymers such as petroleum resins.
2) Another is obtained through direct technical modification of the original bitumen, asphalt. This asphalt also said environmentally friendly asphalt, the colorless asphalt has the characteristics of strong aging resistance of asphalt, and it pavement red color is wine red, brownish red in deep shade.
Colored Asphalt Pavement Technology : Cold laid colored pavement and Hot mixed asphalt HMA colored pavement.
The Typical Colored Asphalt Pavement is a colored asphalt mixture composed of decolorized asphalt as the binder, various colour asphalt pigments added, and various levels of stone ( aggregate ) mixed at the asphalt mixing station to form a colored asphalt pavement. After hot paving and hot rolling and then it is formed smoothly.

Colored Asphalt can be mixed and mixed with various color specifications of stone aggregates, pigments, additives, and other materials at specific temperatures according to different formulas, and can be configured into various colored asphalt mixtures with bright colors, chemical properties, stability, and other characteristics, which can play a role in water drainage, anti slip, anti rutting, and beautification of the city.
The Main characteristics are that the colored asphalt pavement has a certain structural thickness (surface layer of 3.0-4.0 cm), which can replace the traditional asphalt surface layer. Our GREEFIELD® high performance synthetic iron oxide pigments have the complete colour range of synthetic Iron Oxide Red, synthetic Oxide Yellow, synthetic Oxide Black, synthetic Oxide Orange, synthetic Oxide Brown and Compound Ferric Green, Compound Ferric Blue which have excellent colour consistancy and dispersibility, and strong tinting strength, and also can be used in the many fields, like the colorant in paint and coating industry, constructions industry, colour asphalt bitumen, ceramic industry, plastic and rubber industry, paper industry, float glass industry and mulch colorant, that application used indoor and outdoor condition etc.
